Press About AnastasiaTruck
AnastasiaTruck project attracts peoples’ attention all across the USA. Here is the article from “The Star” - Shelby, N.C.:
“SHELBY - If you’ve bought an apple, orange or of lettuce from an area grocery store, chances are you bought something one Shelby trucking company drove thousands of miles to bring to Cleveland County…
Now, via a new advertising contract and the Internet, that same trucking company has the attention of people all over the world.
On Tuesday, Sullens Trucking – based in an office that overlooks - Warren Street – sent two drivers on a five and a half day route to California. And the 53 foot trailer they took with them was adorned with the face of 20-year-old woman from Odessa, Ukraine.
A woman that might want to meet you.
For the next 15 months, one of Sullens’ trucks will feature a full-length advertisement for Russian-American matchmaker group Anastasia International.
Anastasia International, which matches single women from Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union to single men in America, was formed in 1993 and has been featured as a reputable meeting service on news broad-casts around the world, including CBS’ “48 Hours”, NBC, CNN and the BBC.
“It’s going to draw a lot of attention,” said Sullens Trucking President Larry Sullens.
The truck, which made its debut driving through Uptown Shelby during the final Alive After Five, will crisscross the country, making deliveries and pick ups and – through a promotional effort by Anastasia International- you can track its progress online every mile of the way.
Sullens Said photographs of the truck would be taken as it passes through the major cities throughout the country – from Los Angelis to Seattle and Atlanta to Dallas – to be posted online along with a tracking map at AnastasiaTruck.com
“There’s no better way to advertise than on the side of a truck,” said Sullens employee Greg Buchanon.>
Buchanon and Sullens said – through the truck’s 150,000 mile voyage – an estimated 50 million people across the country will see the supersized mobile ad.
Sullens said he hopes the advertising campaign will be a stepping stone to working with the other national advertisers and, though that, be able to buy more trucks and hire more drivers.
“It helps us create more jobs,” he said. “We’re very proud of it.””
